Bike Tours

Cyclo Point offers three types of bicycle tours in Málaga.

THE MALAGA CITY BIKETOUR
Description:
This will start at our bike shop in Pedregalejo where we will go into the direction of the city centre. We will pass the famous bullring, the Alcazaba castle and head for the Cathedral 'La Manquita' (the one armed lady). After this we will pass through the Plaza de la Merced where Pablo Picasso was born and we continue to cross the center in the direcion of Málaga's football stadium. Later we follow the river down towards the port and we follow the coast back to the bike shop.

between 2,5 and 3 hours

BIKE TOUR ALONG THE COAST
Description:
This bicycle tour is our most mellow and relaxed route. It takes you from our bike shop in the opposite direction of the city center towards Rincon de la Victoria, a neigbouring town east of Málaga. Going there we will pass a some of the more quiet beaches of Málaga, 'El Penon del Cuervo' which is a beach with a enormous rock sitting in the water right in front of it. Local kids use it to climb and jump off.
We continue to follow the coast and pass through some tunnels and caves to get to a special 'Mirador' that gives a great view over the coast. Once in Rincon de la Victoria we can have a drink and head back to the bikeshop.

MOUNTAIN BIKE TOUR
Description:
This tour is only for people who are experienced riders who like a challenge.
We will take you up the mountains of Málaga to 'El Parque San Anton' which is a national reserve. Going uphill takes somewhere between 30 and 40 minutes depending on the physique of the biker. Upon reaching the top you will have a beautifull view on all of Málaga.
The route down takes us on the other side of the mountains through trails and dirt roads. The trails can be pretty technical so we will have to see in accordance with the client which route to follow.
